Have you ever lived a place where everyone were simply room-mates sharing a common living space? Many families end up functioning this way in their homes.

I have also experienced this "room-mate only" type of life in God's church.

It happens the same way that it happens in families: instead of growing together, people start growing apart. Maybe it was due to a fight or working longer hours, whatever the reason the result is the same... Unconnected lonely people.

It is our prayer at Resurrection that the love of God will shape us to be a place where all can find a place of belonging.

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves had been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God because God is love." 1 John 4:7-8

As we follow the teachings of the Bible we pray that the Resurrection community will be a place where anyone can feel at home!
